KERA Aviation ("KERA," "we," "us") publishes independent aviation and travel reviews and journal entries. This policy explains what information this website collects, why we collect it, and how it's used.

01 — Information We Collect
We keep this to what the site actually needs.
KERA is a small, independent publication. We don't run visitor accounts, ad networks, or tracking scripts on the public site. The information described below covers everything this website collects.
Contact Form
When you submit our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, so we can read and reply to you.
Admin Account & Authentication
For KERA's own administrators only — login credentials, two-factor authentication data, and session information needed to securely operate the site's admin system. This does not apply to ordinary site visitors, who are never asked to create an account.
Session Cookies
A small number of cookies keep a signed-in administrator securely authenticated. These cookies are not set for visitors browsing the public site, and KERA does not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.
Security & Rate-Limiting Information
To help prevent abuse of sensitive actions — such as repeated admin login attempts, two-factor verification attempts, or contact-form submissions — the site may briefly use technical request information, including IP address, to limit how often those actions can be repeated in a short window of time.

We do not use this information for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell personal information.
03 — Contact Form Delivery
Your message becomes an email, not a database row.
When you submit the contact form, your message is delivered to KERA as an email through Resend, a third-party transactional email service. Your submission is not stored in our database — it's sent as an email, with your email address set as the reply-to address, so a reply can reach you directly.
If the contact form is temporarily unavailable or not configured, your message is not sent or stored anywhere on our end.
04 — Hosting & Infrastructure
Like any website, this one has to live somewhere.
This website is hosted and delivered using third-party hosting and infrastructure providers, the same way most websites are. Those providers may process standard technical information — such as network requests — as part of operating their servers and delivering this site to your browser. This processing is incidental to running the website and isn't used by KERA for any purpose beyond what's described in this policy.
05 — Cookies
Essential to the admin system. Nowhere else.
No cookies are required to browse reviews, journal entries, or any other public content on this site. Cookies are used only within the administrator system, to keep a signed-in administrator securely authenticated. KERA does not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or analytics.
06 — How Long We Keep It
Only as long as it's actually needed.
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected. Contact-form messages are delivered by email and are not retained in our database, though copies may exist in ordinary email records for as long as we, or our email provider, keep sent or received mail.
Administrator account and session information is kept for as long as the associated admin account or session remains active, and is removed or expires as part of normal account and session lifecycle. Technical information used for rate-limiting is short-lived and used only to enforce temporary limits on repeated requests.
